Listening like a champion

Many A1 learners think listening is the hardest skill. ๐Ÿ‘‚ The good news: there are STRATEGIES that help. Before you listen, predict the topic. ๐Ÿ”ฎ Look at any pictures or titles. While listening, focus on KEYWORDS โ€” names, numbers, places, times. ๐Ÿ”‘ Don't try to understand every word! When you hear something new, IGNORE it and keep going. If possible, listen TWICE: first for the main idea (gist), then for details. ๐Ÿ” Take short notes. ๐Ÿ“ Practice 5โ€“10 minutes every day. Slowly, your ears will get faster than you think.
